VIA the company we all pass by without noticing (its s shame because it is one innovative company) has come up with a new mobile processor called NANO and its seems its a Atom Buster, its single threaded single core is much much faster than the Atoms Hyper Threading Dual cores, check out the reviews, it was amazing how it was 50seconds faster than ATOM on LAME MT test,

Thats because Intel's atom processor use in order execution and VIA NANO uses out of order execution. Anyway, thanx for da info!

i know why it is fast but it is irrelevant because Atom competes with Nano and nano is superior in every way, ppl don't really care if a CPU is using In order or Out of order execution they just want them to be fast.

Well, same applies to the Intel vs AMD battle. You say AMD has superior technolony, but who the heck cares? :)

Maybe some just want em to be efficient in power consumption, (Atom is very much low-powered,) so as these are planned to be used on mobile platforms ;)

ah well the Nano is clocked higher than Atom thats the main reason its using a little more power...still all in all i really liked how small VIA kicked intel but even when AMD is struggling that's what i call competiton and thats what keeps new hardware comming...Kudos VIA
