HP laptop

මගේ රටින් ගෙනාපු laptop එකක් තියෙනවා...
මොඩල් එක HP 2000
i3 එකක්.. ප්‍රශ්නය මේකයි. lap එක format කරා පස්සේ restart වෙලා on වෙනකාට මෙහෙම වැටනවා..

මම f2 ඔබලා එකෙ එන

memory test,hard drive test ඔක්කෝම test කරා... ඔක්කෝම passed කියලා වැටෙනවා.. windows open වෙන් නෑ..
අාපහු format කරන්න කියලා win 07 dvd එක දාලා අාපහු restart කරලා on වැනකොටම Esc ඔබලා... මේ පල්ලේ menu එකට ගියා..

f9 ගැහුවා boot device options වලට යන්න.. එතකොට මෙහෙමයි..

ගොඩ සැරයක් try කරා... හරි යන්නේ නෑනේ..... bood device පෙන්නන්නේ නෑ..
මේක ගාෙඩ දාගන්න කවුරු හරි උදව් කරනවද...

Try going into your BIOS (press delete at startup) and check if it detects anything under SATA or IDE.

The problem with this error 3F0 is the HDD to start off with and at the same time HP techs won't inform you on how to resolve the issue after the new HDD is put in because they know exactly how to resolve this. What you have to do is go into the BIOS in the boot options, change your boot order to internal DVD-RW drive or CD drive as the first boot device in both sections because you will see 2 areas that you can change this, enable legacy support, change your "UEFI" or something like that to both options example "UEFI + XXXX" and then save your changes.

After the reboot it will prompt you to enter a series of numbers + ENTER to make the changes and once that is done it will boot off your installation CD and recognize your HDD 100% as I am installing it right now and so sorry for the "UEFI blah blah blah"....but it is there!

ඕකට rufus කියන සොෆ්ට්වෙයා එකෙන් UEFI විදිහට bootable එකක් හදපන් pen drive එකකට

ඊට පස්සේ pen drive එක පෙන්නයි බූට් menu එකේ. එකෙන් boot කරපන්

legacy boot on කරපන්. නැත්නම් uefi off කරහන්...
එහෙමත් නැත්නම් uefi විදියට බූට් කරලා ඔ එස් එක දාපන්.
ඒවගේම legacy rom එකක් ගහන්න නම් උබ හාඩ් එකේ partition table එක gpt වලින් mbr වලට convert කරගන්න ඕනි...

මම os දාලා ඉවර වුනාම තමා මේහෙම වුනේ... ඉතිං boot වෙන නැති නිසා අාපහු os දාන්න බැලුවේ... එහෙම ඔින වෙන් නෑ..
මචන් මේකේ විදියට legacy support එක enable කරා... දැන් ඔන් වෙනවා...
UEFI වලින් boot නොවි.. legacy වලින් boot වීම අවුලක් නැත්ද...?

uefi වලින් බූට් වෙන්න නම් උබ හාඩ් එක gpt විදියට හදන්න ඕනි....

නෙට් එකේ සර්ච් එකක් දාපන් uefi, gpt, mbr , mbr to gpt conversion වගේ කී වර්ඩ් වලින්.
එතකොට උබට ඕක තේරුම් ගන්න පුළුවන්....
