I think humans are not different from ai..we gather data throughout our lives and train our behaviors accordingly those inputs..we train to react accordingly to the way we trained..even the consciousness and feelings also are some learned patterns…..I think only difference is we humans can ask questions based on our training and answer them without any “prompt” and can train on those answers performance within society…So I think we are in the right track to develop artificial consciousness in near future…Am i just oversimplifying humans or do u think the same?

By the way I want to know how actually AI works. EXplain like Im 5 .
I am no expert in ai….anyways i think ai is like dog…if you ring a bell and if it came to u ,u give a snack…initially there will be times that it wont come to u even if you rang the bell…but after few times it will come almost every time…so you train it with a input(bell sound) until a preferred outcome comes…so you made a correlation between the input and output…..there are other ways without rewarding to make that correlation like supervising…in this dog analogy we can train to sit with a verbal command by correcting it’s position to our desired position everytime..so with time it learn to nake a correlation between command and action….So if we train like this with numerous data we create a ai …i may be horribly wrong i know😅

Imagine you're learning to recognize different animals. At first, you might not know what a cat looks like, but after seeing lots and lots of cats - big cats, small cats, fluffy cats, skinny cats - you start to notice patterns. You learn that cats have pointy ears, whiskers, and say "meow." Now when you see a new animal, you can look at these features and decide if it's a cat or not2.

AI works exactly the same way! An AI model is like a computer that learns by looking at tons and tons of examples, just like you learned about cats

Yep this is more smarter way to explain it
