Yes. Definitely I will take the same approach if I would to earn money. Because in Sri Lanka patriotism, war are the main means of earning money. That's the point I wanted to show by this thread machang

Most of we are "awasthaawaadiyo" and we try to "kala dutu kala wala iha ganna" That's the Sri Lankan nature [sadly] Even though it is wrong...

well machoz its like this [ as i see after 21 yrs of my lyf ]
ven sri lankans, indians , europians or asians ... who ever the person doing patriotism [ im nt saying 100% of ppl b t more than 95%] 1st start it .. raise their sound do this N that N try to make a revolution bt when eva they meet da term called "tempt" ... they are falling ... for a wrong path ... N very few of them get rid of it @ 1st place bt even tho they got rid of it .. they were there like 25% of that particular event or the bad side of it ... others will drawn in it ... some times for scarification sme ppl hv to do those bad things even tho they dnt like to do bt after that ... sm ppl fall it cz itz da easy way ... actualy what you have mentioned as "Sri Lankan Nature" hv to be corrected as "human nature" [in my point of view] cz none of us are perfect so as far as i can see ... its a part/period of our/human life ....

giv u a real life example from mine -
when i wz doing O/L's ... s person i knw tried alcohol for knw wht is dat N why do sme ppl like it N why do sme ppl hate it and wht can we get or loose by hving it ... N dat particular person tried it couple of times & realized its jst a drink ... jst wasting our money ... we cant get nything good frm it bt it'll make our health week so N so ... so dat person get rid of it ... when he was tryn it .. sme of his friends told hey dude wtf r u doimg ?? .. r u mad?? dnt do it etc etc. bt after dat particular person met his "good" friends after 4-5 yrs later ... they were smoking .. drinking ... N doing lot of other stuff .... totally they look like "beer badala" see wht happen to da people who hv advised to a person 4-5 yrs before???

First of all machan, let me say that this post is bit off the topic- - - So, please excuse me for that.- - And secondly I personally don’t target individuals when making my comments, but this guy left me with no other alternative. As this is EK Pro section, this should be a place where people come to express their self’s in a more educated way. So, sw7x please- - - PLEASE- - - please read the thread before you post! Have to say machan, this thread had a good flow to it with some making comments in agreeing with X-P and Some against it.- - -But some members including sw7x ruined it for all of us!!- - - -And sw7x, what’s with the sigi machan! Do you think you look cool with that! Do you feel like you are the one who most love Sri Lanka when you have that sigi? Grow up machan. It looks ridicules! That's not entirely true.

Some will behave like this. But most of them dont. Never ever seen people selling patriotism to achieve their own benefits as in our nation.

What you say is true in a way... like yes, many get tempted when they achieve something and try to earn money. But not patriotism...

Different people have different capacities in their minds machang. As professionals we know that it is important to respect others views. But some dont. they know only to make a huge noise.

I agree with what x-pert says regarding delons ulterior motives..

well its a fact that people will use things to their advantage to get an edge on the music scene these days....MIA did that by using LTTE..2PAC used the 'Oppressed Black Man' theme.. SOAD used & still uses the 'Armanian Genocide' to sell their albums... So delon is not alone in using ulterior motives to sell music

But we can honestly say that MIA supports the LTTE's cause & she directly included LTTE propaganda shit... so we need someone to hit back as well... delon did that & did that so well that it got MIA uncomfortable & this act alone will make her think twice before promoting terrorist shit in her next album (Think her record label will force her to do so).... so If Delon achieved what non of the Sri Lankans coudnt do earlier with MIA then I hav no reason to complain

so if he gets famous for it & sells more albums then props to him..he deserves that....and I'm not angry with him even if he did that purposfuly to get more popular..if he catches 2 birds with one stone..then all i can say is "Delon is a smart guy"

thats why i told nt 100% of them bt more than 95% of them ... well in this case im nt pointing abt our nation ... im talking abt da whole wrld ... and again ... jst think ... a person is helping to another to do patriotism N another person helps to the 1st person who helped to the person who did patriotism ... and may be the person who is doing this patriotism might hv another aim ... like selling patriotism ... bt the other 2 dsnt knw abt this ... so they do help in the bst way to make this success ... so indirectly that fellowz are also helped to earn through patriotism isn't it?
