Panthera Pardus kotiya recorded in tea estates, grasslands, home  gardens, pine and eucalyptus plantations. Even though leopards are  everywhere spotting a leopard in a habitat apart from a national park is  usually rare.But in the  forest patches in central Sri Lanka, Where tea plantations are close by  leopards and people encounters are on the rise. Villagers in Hatton,  Kotagala, Dickoya are reporting more leopards sightings.Wilpattu  national park happens to be the home for highest number of Panthera  Pardus. Compared to <a href="https://bestsrilankatrip.com/yala-national-park/" target="_blank">Yala national park</a> Wilpattu is a bigger in area and  leopards are spread around. Yala National park has a very high rate of  seeing a leopard. Because of the high leopards density that contracted  in a small area.Panthera  Parduss in Yala National Park, where the big cats draped themselves  decoratively over high branches and rolled around on dusty trails as  tourists watched. But in Wilpattu, and pretty much everywhere else in  the island nation, the Panthera Pardus kotiya is notoriously shy.</blockquote>
