I had a PSU that came with the system case (400W) and I used it for over 2 years of 24X7 operation. Then my generator screwed up and one day that PSU exploded :( so I bought a 400W Mercury PSU from 3D Computing for Rs. 1,700/- but from the day I bought it when ever the power went out the system restarted even though I had a UPS. I knew the holding power of the PSU which is surpose to keep the system powered in the event of a outage (7-10ms) was not enough (since the UPS takes around 4-6ms to kick in). So I called PcHouse and asked them for a orginal PSU. They said they had 500W for Rs. 5,500/-. So I hopped over there and got the PSU but I don't feel its a original PSU because it says its a AGC PSU. In the label it says : Max. 300W for +3.3 and +5VDC combination Max. 480W for +3.3V, +5V and 12VDC combination Max. 500W for total combination The label also says +3.3V : 28A = 92.4W +5V : 40A = 200W +12V : 17A = 204W -12V : 0.8A = 9.6W +5VSB : 3.0A = 15W So what do you think. I feel I've been ripped. However my restarting problem is fixed. I'd be so glad to sue PCHouse's ass IF i have been ripped. :) (Time for me to get rid of the evil isn't it? :P) Thanks
