But theres this issue in our religion(Buddhism) that the place and the manner of rebirth is decided mostly by the thoughts of a person at the time he was dying.. like Janaka karma...      Upa gathaka karma... and so on....so if a soldier or even a monk has a bad thought at the time he was dying he surely be born in a bad place... or even can end up by becomng an animal...But if a soldier as able to gain a good thought at the time of his death...He surely will be born in a good place.... And im sure allmost all the soldiers who are fighting  for us at this very moment have pure hopes of their motherland...otherwise they also shud have been doing smethng else lke u and me... So after they physically die... i thnk mst f them becmes Jathiyee mura devathavoo...and continue their great effort!!!!!!!</blockquote>
