(LeN-2007 May 04, 6.30 pm) Sri Lanka cricket team's new born paceman Lasith Malinga says even though he managed to grab a world record in the world cup he might not be able to play international cricket for long due to his bowling action.
Malinga made this statement speaking to 'LeN' upon their arrival to Sri Lanka yesterday.
He said that his mother was not happy that he took up cricket when he was small but said that he is happy that he has now succeeded.
Answering a question raised by us, how long he intends of playing for Sri Lanka Slinger-Malinga said he doesn't think he could play for long due to his unorthodox action but that he will definitely do his utmost in every match he plays to bring glory to mother lanka.
