As someone pointed out, video editing needs fast hard drives. Hence the 10K RPM drive for media caching and previews. This is our standard hard drive setup for full HD editing.2. Only 8GB RAM to fit in your budget. 16GB will be better, but you can add that later.3. As someone also pointed out, a GTX760 will be better for gaming. You'll need and extra 15k (GPU + PSU upgrades) to go for a GTX760.4. Yes AMD cards are supported for video editing. But since the current generation Adobe Suite is also built on CUDA first, Nvidia cards still offer more performance with CUDA than a similarly priced AMD card does with OCL. Certain aspects of Aftereffects are still not supported by OCL. So to play it safe, go with Nvidia.</blockquote>
