I have never been a fanboy of either products I just said a fact how nvidia cards are useful. he is not from UK he is obviously from Sri lanka and in Sri lanka the prices are different. gtx 750 is much more cheaper in Sri lanka which is roughly 22.5 k and and 7850 is 32k. :P anyway the gtx 760 card is more better it's just 42k in barclays and more powerful than the 7850 don't believe me? then here is a proof. http://www.hwcompare.com/14809/geforce-gtx-760-vs-radeon-hd-7850/ so you get basically PhyX and CUDA support and DirectX12 support yeah :P do you even know ATi 7000 series doesn't support to upcoming Dx12 API? so it's totally useless in this case when going to play upcoming video games but every single card above GTX 400< series supported to Dx12 API so buying a GTX 760 for 42k price is more beneficial and more productive. in 3dmax there is a rendering method called iray Renderer which is backed up by CUDA technolgy and it nearly takes 225 seconds to render a scene. beside there are CUDA games like Just cause and CUDA video encoding software, CUDA password crackers and CUDA is also the industry standard and Nvidia heavily funds the technology. I don't deny the fact the when it comes to ATI there are benefits too like you said OpenCL is useful and ATI has more processing power but when it comes to the bigpicture there is only a slight different in processing power and you get in that price PhysX and DirectX 12 support with Nvidia cards so going for a Nvidia card is better overall than going for ATI for a slight performance increment in processing power at same price.
