Ojha and Yuvraj helped India's march to the victory!

So the Indians have started their title defense in great style here, beating the giant killers comprehensively. After getting 180, they always had an upper hand but Bangladesh is a side that is highly unpredictable. The way Tamim and Junaid started, it looked we might have a contest but the early blow from Yusuf and subsequent blows from Pragyan Ojha, put Bangladesh on the backfoot. They got to a point of no return and India got home with ease.India won by 25 runs. Another good news for India is that Zaheer Khan, the man under suspicion played the game but Sehwag still could not make it.

It took Yuvraj Singh 18 balls to undo 10 overs' hard work by Bangladesh that had pulled India back after another solid start from Gautam Gambhir and Rohit Sharma. It took Pragyan Ojha five balls to undo their eight overs of keeping pace with a stiff total and eventually India became the first side in this tournament to successfully defend. Ojha was declared man of the match for his 4 wickets.

    Teams :

Bangladesh : Mohammad Ashraful (capt), Mashrafe Mortaza, Tamim Iqbal, Junaid Siddique, Raqibul Hasan, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Naeem Islam, Shahadat Hossain, Mohammad Mahmudullah, Rubel Hossain.

India : Mahendra Singh Dhoni (capt), Gautam Gambhir, Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh, Yusuf Pathan, Rohit Sharma, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Ishant Sharma, Pragyan Ojha, Irfan Pathan.
