First identify a good land => this need to be done by you when you visit SL or through some trusted person. Do astrological things (භුමි දෝෂ බැලීම) if you believe in themfor the legal part, the lawyer should check the history of the deed of the land from the land registry office to check whether the land belongs to the real seller.  then lawyer should create a transferring deed to transfer your land from the seller to you. This may be done by the company and the person with your attorney powers shall sign there with witnesses. It is better you come to SL. //Make sure to register the land immediately after the registration. Legal fees may depend. Usually a percentage from the value of the land 1%-2%. not sure.
