You save money only if you in dialup. Firefox normal download and IDM gives almost same speed in Dialup for small files. Even Firefox does a better job than IDM in Dialup coz IDM sometimes mess up trying to split the small file to parts in dialup and end up downloading slowly than Firefox and more downloading time than Firefox too.

i use flashget it can download songs but the mp3 get screwed at some points.. the variation in transfer rate affects it i think.. usin the normal standard downloadin is better for mp3's man
