Layoffs started in November 400–500 people were already affected . Right after the New Year 2026 first working day, they announced another round, and it’s still ongoing.They’re targeting ~700 people total, mainly from IFS-acquired products, hitting engineering managers hard. I personally know people who joined with high salaries, worked 2–3 months, and got laid off.Most affected are on probation, getting just Jan–Feb salaries.Heard thatThere are also plans to remove Unified Support from Sri Lanka and outsource it.This is bad and will seriously hurt the Sri Lankan IT industry.
