IIFA mania will kick start with some midweek madness at Colombo ’s premium boutique bar- Amuseam, which is located at the historic Galle Face Hotel. Amuseam is hosting IIFA FLAVORS playing tribute to the sensations of Bollywood. The entire club will be adorned with vibrant fabrics, decadent detailing, colorful lighting and fresh flowers. Giant screens will be playing shorts from past IIFA ceremonies, to get everyone in the right mood for the action packed next few days ahead. It will be a night full of festive music and dancing. Fun cocktails and exciting guest DJ appearances will stage the perfect pre-weekend party. It is sure to be a BIG Night and is not to be missed!

The famous In.. on the green quiz night will get an Indian tinge, as quiz master Darren Frost tests your Grey cells while you sip on your favorite beverage and munch on the great pub menu they have.

Welcome IIFA – the party that starts it all!
Mojo, the number one night club in Colombo will usher in its guests with a Rangoli art entrance and colored lighting. Incense, cut-outs of Indian stars, and waiters in Indian attire will greet all who enter. The first night of the IIFA will try to break the ice between the Colombo and Indian party cultures with Iced Vodka Chai(Indian Tea) , Lassi / Gulab Ka Sharbat / Badam (Almond) cocktails. Indian-dance music will rock the perfect pre-party before the weekend proper begins.

this will be a relaxed 'spiritual' adventure, Amuseam is going bi-cultural with an eclectic mix of western and eastern lounge and chill-out music. A nice and welcome break between two heavy hitter nights; it will be a party siesta. Incense, Indian sweets, Masala Cocktails, Sheesha and earthy toned ambient lighting will create a soothing environment for good conversation and an opportunity to re-energize for the weekend. A celebrity astrologer will be mingling amongst the crowd and is bound to incite curiosity and excitement!

Om Shanti Om glorified 1970s Bollywood, which was all about bold prints and bright colours. Om Mojo Om is a retro Bollwood party which is a fusion of Retro English music and Dance mixed old school Hindi classics. Guests are encouraged to dress retro. A competition for a Rajesh Khanna or Hema Malini or Mumtaz look alike and surprise dance acts will pop up. DJ Bhavini Shah aka DJ lil B from Mumbai and Ashanti will conduct guest spots along with the Mojo DJs.

Last year's IIFA awards will play on giant screen as you move and groove to the beats of DJ Bhavini Shah from Mumbai. Also get ready foor a special guest act from Lanka's own Ashanti and crew who have gone bolly crazy with a brand new set of tracks.

The biggest night of the festival with DJ Bhavini Shah from Mumbai and Ashanti on guest spots along with the Mojo DJs. Again, guests will be encouraged to dress up for the event, but traditional Indian. A Mehendhi artist at the door & free Bindi for ladies. Iced Vodka Chai , Lassi / Gulab Ka Sharbat / Badam cocktails are the call of the day once again. Sarees draped as booth curtains will give a cozy look to the place, while incense, smoke machines and mood lighting will give it atmosphere. A flat out-party-til-you-drop event.

Amuseam will host an IIFA closing party to bid farewell to the IIFA contingency- Bon Voyage . This will be the last IIFA installment, so it has to and will end with a bang! Instead of winding down as tradition dictates, we are going to rev it up. The music, ambiance and bar service will all reflect a rave like attitude.

The Sunday quiz will be on from 6 to 8 pm with quiz master Patrick Dark with a great Sunday snack menu for you to choose from. Read up on Bollywood! As always, Entrance is free and BYOB too.
