Wish I could give 0 stars. Ridiculous college. Would not recommend anyone to study here. Very low support provided to students, incapable of providing mentor support to students and been known to fail students unfairly so that they can repeat a year for $$$. Very rude staff, incapable of communicating professionally. Unsure how this college is even running and is allowed to operate. Save your money and study anywhere else.

I attended Informatics Institute of Technology in Sri Lanka, and unfortunately, my experience was not pleasant. The facilities at the institute are extremely disappointing. The labs are in poor condition, and during our free time, they are all closed. This leaves us with nothing to do, and it feels like a waste of time. Moreover, the overcrowded environment and small space make it difficult to study or concentrate.
The staff members, in general, are very rude, which creates a negative atmosphere on the campus. While the lecturers are somewhat better, the overall lack of facilities and support makes it challenging to fully focus on our studies.
What bothers me the most is that despite paying a significant amount of money for our education, the institute seems to neglect the students' needs. With hundreds of students attending, it's unacceptable to have only one lab open for use. It's essential for the management to consider the substantial fees we pay and provide better facilities for a more conducive learning environment.
I want to emphasize that IIT is not a government institution, and therefore, the responsibility lies with the management to address these issues and improve the overall experience for the students. I sincerely hope they take this review seriously and take the necessary steps to make positive changes in the institute.

Only get enrolled at IIT if you intend to waste your money. The lecturers here lack both experience and knowledge. The Business School staff is just as disappointing as the lecturers. THEY ARE ONLY FOCUSED ON MONETARY GAIN RATHER THAN QUALITY EDUCATION. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for your studies.

This institute has some kind of reputation only among a few legacy IT companies in Sri Lanka. Most importantly, first thoroughly check their syllabus before selecting a degree. Marketing team most of the time hides the degree content knowing that it's not competitive. Facilities are very low, Building space is less so this is crowded. Even computer labs are not up to standards.

Ramakrishna road eke thiyena building eka nm sahenna paranai thama. Habai IIT eke wena buildings thiyenawa oka hara.
