The Special Unit of the Excise department last night busted a racket on trading of liquor via internet orders and arrested three persons, officials said.

The persons involved in the racket had opened a web site and offered to provide goods including the foreign liquor according to orders received. The payments were accepted by Credit Cards.
Under existing laws a license is required to distribute liquor.
A stock of liquor valued at Rs 1.2 million has been detected.
