No. It's not that. No person living today have seen Allah...but the thing is, you can't see Allah. Allah isn't like a person living up high in the sky...where you can imitate by drawing a painting..or creating or statue or idol or whatever. Nothing we create or could create could be befitting to represent Allah save his names. Islamic doctrine teaches that Allah is Light. And there is a veil between Allah and creation. If this veil is removed, it would destroy everything except Allah. So we will never be able to see Allah directly. It's impossible for us. At least in this earthly life. People believe in Islamic teachings because they believe in Islam...they believe in the messenger Muhammed. So don't mix the two up. You don't know why people believe in Islamic teachings. The answer is because they believe in Islam. So do you know why people believe in Islam? They are lunatics or something? See....you think the person is mentally ill because they are killing animals for God. Killings animals (udhiyaa) is a God's command according to Islam. So if people believe in Islam they will follow this. So what's makes them mentally ill? Killing animals for god? or believing in Islam? What you are implying is that only the mentally ill believe in Islam...and this is absurd. So this remains a subjective thing..and it's merely your opinion. You might think the person is mentally ill but the person doesn't think the same..he thinks he is doing it for God. So the difference is whether you believe in the same God or not. And you imply that if the person believes in that God then he's mentally ill.
