Bottom line is those ahadeeth don't dismiss the prophethood of Muhammed (for me). Let me explain. He takes ahadeeth. He makes the conclusion that Muhammed is (insert claim here) from them. His premise is that prophets of God can't be (insert claim here). So Muhammed is not a prophet of God. Islam is false. This is the wrong approach to disprove Islam. Providing a defence for the ahadeeth (if there is any) is time wasting....because it doesn't fulfill the purpose of him and me being here. So that's what I said..if anyone wants to disprove Islam to me..then prove one of these two things1. Quran is not the word of a deity.2. Muhammed is not a prophet. (his characteristics doesn't matter).But since people are being adamant I shall try to answer him directly. And even if I can't answer them..what does it show? Have I been "defeated"..what do you mean defeated?? In what? Remember these ahadeeth in no way belittles Islam (for me). It is a non-issue. In other words "I believe in these ahadeeth because I am Muslim....but it is not because of these ahadeeth that I am muslim".For example, take the hadeeth that says Adam was 40ft. Now he would say that modern science and evolution say that people couldn't have been 40ft at any time. So the hadeeth is wrong.....and is a lie. So Islam is useless and a lie. BUT now, I believe Adam was 40ft because I am Muslim....and it is not this belief that makes me Muslim. It's just a package deal. If</blockquote>
