Message: <blockquote data-quote="lkdood" data-source="post: 7761979" data-attributes="member: 92282">The International Monetary Fund (IMF) will on  Monday decide on the third tranche of the US$2.6 billion Stand-by  Arrangement for Sri Lanka when its executive board meets on this issue. According to a notice on the IMF web, the executive board will be  looking at the ‘Second and Third Reviews Under the Stand-By  Arrangement’. In end May, a fund mission headed by Brian Aitken – after a  review in Colombo – said the next tranche would be due in four to six  weeks. It was not given earlier as certain budget targets were not met. The fund’s expected announcement later on Monday coincides with the  national budget which will be presented in Parliament tomorrow (Tuesday)  by Prime Minister D. M.
