India's National Security Adviser Shivshankar Menon told media after meeting  with the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi in Chennai today that India is  also assisting the Sri Lankan government on the resettlement and the  rehabilitation of displaced Tamils. Menon said he assured the Chief Minister that the central government  continues to do whatever it can to find a solution acceptable to all the  communities. "We are working with the Sri Lankan government both in terms of resettlement  of displaced people and also in terms of devolution of power in the political arrangement that will satisfy all the communities in Sri Lanka," the National  Security Adviser said. "Indian Government is continuously holding talks with Sri Lanka on these; we  insist the Sri Lankan government to resettle the Tamils in the same place where  they lived before the war and they should get adequate devolvement of powers,"  Menon added.
