With Air space closure. It is cheaper to fly Sri Lankan to fly between both countries. Colombo hub will get a big boost of flights. It if fuel efficient and cheaper. That is why Afghan government wants to open up Sri Lankan skies.They know that Sri Lankan can fly freely in Pakistan Air Space where as Afghan government cannot. Sri Lankan Airways can fly freely to India too.I hope Sri Lankan Airlines uses wise routing of flight schedules and cites. It will make it much more profitable.On the other side on north Aeroflot Russian is more profitable .
