Indian MP scolds local lady officer

Indian media has reported that the leader of the South Indian Parliamentarians presently in Sri Lanka has scolded a lady officer. Mr T A Balu has scolded Mrs G S M Charles, the Divisional Secretary of Vavunia District. He has stated that he does not need any guidance from the Sri Lankan Government to enter any IDP camps at his will. The MP has used indecent language to yell at the Divisional Secretary and according to Indian press they have noticed tears in her eyes. It is also reported Mrs Kanimoshi Karunanidhi who was present at this occasion had not got in the way when this lady was in such an inconvenient situation. A serious dialogue has arisen on sanctioning this visit by the South Indian Parliamentarians. Many assume this as a result of influence by the Indian Government.
