An Indian engineer and a consultant who are working on a construction site in Norwood, Hatton were assaulted by a group of villages at Ginigathhena who mistook them to be “grease yakas.”
The incidents took place on Wednesday evening when they were returning to Norwood from a trip to Kandy when the driver had stopped the vehicle at Ginihathhena .
The men are receiving treatment at the Dic Oya Hospital.
