You cannot generalize and say that all gay people are mentally retarded/abnormal. Issac Newton was gay, for instance. So were many famous scientists and artists, including Oscar Wild, Ellen Degeners, Elton John. In fact, homosexual people are over represented in art circle and highly intelligent.
There is a genetic back ground to it as well as social learning and circumstances. Look around us guys, the society promotes it-they always segregate according to sex, schools, hostels everything.
And just like we cannot force ourselves love a same sex person, they cannot make themselves love one of opposite sex. But they can form long term relationships and commitments. After all, it's something that happens between two adults, which is harmless to them or the others. At least the others.
I also haven't heard about the cancer thing. But women who give birth to babies at a young age and have a lot of babies can get cancers. Where'd you find that detail-I'd like to read it.
