If you have some basic knowledge of WinXp then it is enough to install Mac Os X Tiger. If you are successful in booting Mac through VMWare then there is 90 % chance , you can install Mac Os Tiger on your hard disk. But this step is optional.Steps to Install Mac Os X Tiger on your hard disk:1.) Before installing Mac we need to connect two hard-disks. One hard disk must contain Windows Xp and this must be the primary disk.The second disk is the disk where you are going to install Mac Os . It must be slave ( Remove the jumper in the hard disk and it becomes slave disk) . If you are not good in connecting hard disks , ask for someone’s help and don’t mess up.2.) We need to have tiger-x86-flat.img file to install Mac Os Authorized users can get it from Apple but you can also get this file from torrent websites like <a href="http://www.torrentspy.com/" target="_blank">http://www.torrentspy.com/</a> . You have to give in the keyword “VMWare files for patched Mac Os X Tiger Intel “and you have to Select a healthy torrent and download this 1.28 GB file. The file name is usually tiger-x86.tar.bz2. But this is illegal. After downloading the file , unrar the file using WinRar application to a specific directory .For example I have extracted my tiger-x86.tar.bz2 files to D:\Mac\tiger-x86 directory. In the directory tiger-x86-flat.img file must be extracted3.) Now <a href="http://uranus.it.swin.edu.au/~jn/linux/rawwrite/dd.htm" target="_blank">download dd.exe</a> file. We can find the application available from. If you cant find the file mail me I will send you the software. Extract it to the any directory you like. I have extracted the file in D:\Mac directory4.) After connecting the two hard disks, boot the system. The primary disk boots up i.e. Windows Xp loads up.5.) After Windows Xp loads, Go to Start -> Run .In the text box type in “compmgmt.msc” . We will get a new window named Computer Management.6.) In the computer management window , look into the left pane you will find Storage Menu . Expand the Storage menu. You will find Disk Management option.<img src="http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/6105/3761/1600/ComputerMgmtRev.4.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" />In Disk Management window you can find whether your second hard disk is connected or not.7.) Now you can delete and format the disk where you want to install Mac Os and make the second hard disk as a single partition. Be careful that you do not format the Disk where your Windows is loaded.<img src="http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/6105/3761/1600/deletedisk.0.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" />8.)Now everything is ready. Now go to Command Prompt in Windows and go to the directory where you have dd.exe.( For example I have my dd.exe in my D:\Mac folder)Now type in the following commanddd --list<img src="http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/6105/3761/1600/ddlist.4.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" />Now it will list all drives and we must note the name (i.e)Hard disk 1 ( The name may vary according to your system. Be careful to select the correct Hard disk where you are going to install your Mac Os. )9.)Now type in the following command in your command prompt window.dd bs=1048576 if=D:\Mac\tiger-x86-flat.img of=\\?\Device\Harddisk1\Partition0 -- progressAfter executing the command we can see something like<img src="http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/6105/3761/1600/progressin1.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" />10.) If you get this kind of output Then installation work has been finished.Now make your second ( slave ) hard disk as your primary and remove the first hard disk and now boot up. You will see Mac Os X Tiger booting up . Now from here install Shake , Final Cut Pro . I haven’t tried installing these softwares .
