internet problem

I have adsl 512kbps 1000Rs package
lot of times it gets disconnected automatically??does anybody know why?

machan sometimes due to problems in your splitter

yeah it happened to me when i was in SL.
Chk ur splitter(try re-installing the drivers for that)

well. then d 1st thing u can try z installing another splitter and try....

(borrow a working 1 from a friend f you can find 1)

Do you have a modem or a router?
If it's a modem, try another spliiter.
If it's a router, see if the router can get an ip address (login to the router from the browser and see). If it gets an ip address, see if you can ping the router. Maybe there is a problem with DHCP.

if u have a router then remove disable DHCP and enable static routing to ur pc......
