Sri Lankan team of investigators will leave for Thailand to interrogate LTTE's procurements unit head Kumaran Pathmanathan shortly, defence sources said. Kumaran Pathmanathan, better known as KP has been taken into custody by Thai authorities on Monday in Bangkok. But Thailand's Interpol head Col. Apichart Suribunya denied the media reports and said that none of the agencies in Thailand has arrested him. However, according to reliable information, KP disguised as one Peter Ibrahim, had held a Swiss passport when he was taken in to custody. It is learnt that he has used more than 20 passports within the last 2 decades to run around the world to purchase arms and equipments for the Tamil military struggle in Sri Lanka. A close confidante of LTTE's supremo Vellupillai Prabhakaran, KP is one of the only surviving members of the LTTE's pioneers.
