Ya, will there be reboot problem ?

well its like this.. the IOS4GM comes with bootrom 5.12.1 so using redsnow what they do is unzip the FW and insert the old bootrom and remake the a New FW and restore it... this is done to avoid upgrading the bootrom.. coz if you upgrade there is no way of going back (unless you have backed up your SHSH file)...

At This time it cant be done to our phones since it came with 5.12.1 and we are unable to downgrade it..
and also for the people who had the OS 3.1.2 and upgraded to 3.1.3 got upgraded there bootrom to 5.12.1...

The new iphone 4 has the Bootrom 5.12.1 which we have..
when they relese the unlock v can unlock our 3.1.3 or we can move to iOS4 and unlock as well... going to IOS4 means we need to use the new itunes... 9.2

and make sure to back up your SHSH file using AutoSHSH

coz when apple next time updates there FW again You might accidentally upgrade your Bootrom to 6.0.0 or SO which means it will be locked again.. so to avoid that accident use AutoSHSH http://ih8sn0w.com/index.php/welcome.snow

and backup your SHSH file and keep it safe.. it will upload to the cydia server as well for backup..its a unique file for each iphone..
coz if you have that file for your phone u can always downgrade to 5.12.1 later..:)
coz thats what happen to lot of iphone users who used the 3.1.2 upgraded accidently to 3.1.3 and locked there phones...If they had there SHSH files they could go back..& unlock..

boot rom is like the Bios in our pc.. so dont worry... and there will be no such thing as restart issues... :)
they upgrade the bootrom every time to stop people jail braking it and to avoid unlocking it...

    Hope you got it... Elz///

what is the different between software unlock & factory unlock?
    any help ?:(:(:(

Phones which are never locked call factory unlocked. If you bought phone with SIM/Network lock and unlocked it using software, its called (software) unlocked phone.

factory unlock means its unlocked life time and it will never get locked again when u upgrade your software FW OS.. & never locked to any network..

software unlock is unlocking through a patched FW.. which means like Cracking OR bypassing the lock....
coz in other countrys iphone is given for a 2year contract.. its locked to that network and that is cheep and after 2years are over they will unlock it for you... so to use it with other netowrks they have to software unlock it...

OR iphones from UK can be factory unlocked Genuinely if its a locked one..by paying to apple..but iphones from At&t USA has no way of factory unlocking .. only software jailbreak unlock methods are available .. :)

Most of the people buy phones for contract and they insure it for 7$ a month and say it got lost or stolen so they replace a new one.. and they sell the old one..
