You maybe right because last time when I when to SL I tried to find the price of my phone in SL (Nokia 6110) but I couldn't find my phone selling anywhere!!!

If the govt. decides that something is a threat to its people then they should do it.. people like you will criticize govt. when they making rules.... and if they don't create rules and something happens will criticize govt. again that they did not do anything to prevent it...

I'm not talking about this govt. any govt. past present or even future!!

The rules are imposed for a reason, TAX are being charged for a reason.. People always blind bash at govts for import tax and etc. etc. but actually if those rules are not there the Market in Sri Lanka wont survive!!! So better understand the logic behind the rules rather than just blindly making comments.. else provide proof and facts as to why that rule is obsolete, so that we also can learn!!

ado one thing. do u think dat by banning GPS in sri lanka dat da terrorists cant use it?? they must be having hundreads of methods to communicate ne?? well after all they are damn terrorists. they find every possible way to d sumthing with only a few loopholes!

and another thing abt da tax. macho do u know dat there is a tax f around 300% - 350% for every vehicle imported into sri lanka?? they but this burden on da ppl and the government has given 661 dutry free permits to import vehicles since 2004 which amounts to 1150million rupees. if they had taxed all those vehicles too there wud be more mney to pay for da government employees.
