Message: <blockquote data-quote="MeGusta" data-source="post: 19256082" data-attributes="member: 419878">Bro I have been working in the HR field for the last 3+ years but I'm now considering a career change due to the immense pressure you get once you get to climb up the ladder.IPM is recognized here more than the nibm HR diploma.Cima is  more like an accounting qualification doesn't relate to HR by any means,I did a management degree+hr certificate course it was more than enough for me to get into the hr field.It's a real good career if you are in the HR assistant,HR executive range because there is no much responsibility.But once you come to a managerial position things get to change a lot.You get pressure from all sides + You are totally responsible to present in behalf of employees in court cases+their welfare and actions.There were few occasions I got so influenced by some higher ranking individuals to recruit certain people when all the senior managers were against recruiting that specific person.The constant nagging from employees of their salary increments,complains and stuff and those employee organizations takes a toll on you after sometime. The more you mature you realize this job better suits women because of their ability to handle sensitive situations.I'm not saying to enter the field you may be very capable of handling people.But I have to say It's not the same picture you see once you climb up you know.CIMA is certainly a very recognized qualification regardless whether it's an accounting career or not.</blockquote>
