IPTV problem... do u hav any idea??

can v watch IPTV via pc??
i mean is thr any software that do the same work of set-top box?

STB is something that decodes IP packets into TV signals ne..
so.. cant any software do the same thing???

well bro u cant coz there is a MAC adress on ur setupbox SLT servers have locked data sending to Ur Setup box MAC only...

Every time they replace ur setup box they call and say the new MAC adress...

once I read in a local blog ( not in EK ) that if there is a SLT PEO TV connection, using that Tele line, one can use the pc to watch PEO TV...

A software called wireshark has to be used along with FLV player( to watch ).. pictures are of not good quality : breaking and stuff..

the thing is in the Router which SLT gives for Peo TV only one port is configured for IPTV...PEO TV apply karanne nathuwa, balanna baha man hithanne... SLT eke switch ekak daanna thiyenawalu... eka damma gaman a tele line ekata PEO TV avtivate wenawai kiala mata dana ganna labuna...

err.. if that's da case we can solve it simply by entering the current MAC into the software ( if such a software exists )

Just found that Microsoft also got something related to this...
