Is there a virus that can burn a VGA?

Because two of my friends computers got the problem, - there are strange symbols on the screen when booting the computer and after that the monitor turns off. after a few reboots, the monitor doesn't get the signal at all (checked the monitors, they work fine). once you replace the VGA's they worked fine.

I thought it was a coincident the the two computers had the same problem.

But, today it happened to my computer. :(
(I'm running on the on-beard 32MB VGA)

Can someone give an explanation to this problem? Is it a virus? or something else?

I'm sure it is a VGA Card failure, most probably VRAM on it.

there can be lots of things Virus can do to damage the VGA such as,

increasing clocks (Don't sure is there a max safe limit imposed by hardware control) and damage the card.

and also it can delete the BIOS of the card and the card will be useless.
