SLAF Kfir crashlands after anti aircraft fire - LTTE

A Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) Kfir bomber was damaged in Liberation Tigers anti-aircraft cannon fire over Vavuniyaa Forward Defence Line (FDL) around 3:30 p.m. Thursday. LTTE's Military Spokesman Irasiah Ilanthirayan said that the bomber was damaged in the cannon fire by the Tigers and parts of the damaged aircraft fell inside the Tiger territory and the SLAF aircraft crashlanded into the SLA territory.

Recently, a Kfir bomber was damaged while SLAF personnel were fixing bombs to it in Katunayake airbase in Colombo.

On April 30, 2007, a MiG-27 jet fighter was shot down by the Tigers.

Looks like the parts of an engine to me. Looks like the canon fire broke off the after burner of the jet.

I heard the news that Prabhaharak is crying it seems...

Coz they have lost one of their bullok cart like air crafts....

These are the pictures of their air craft which had crashed due to an engine failure, may be a small T56 bullet of our Lions...
But LTTE say that its an engine failure... haha
