It is dignified in your sense that a woman is not allowed to walk in street like models whether they like it or not. But for western women if they are allowed to do what ever hell they want and treated equal, they call it dignity. Don't think whatever you understand or you feel correct is the right way for everyone. You think women are used as exhibit item, some women like to be used as exhibit items, it is their right. Men are also used as exhibit items.There's no use in talking about status of women  in Islam, it is quite clear in quran. They are not treated equal. What is their to argue about it? It's just that muslims do not believe in equality of women. That's fine, just accept it and move on.</blockquote>
