Message: <blockquote data-quote="kj1" data-source="post: 29551684" data-attributes="member: 555153"><p>See the thing is all the issues we are talking about someone sees them as opportunity to capitalize on.I'm a CISSP as well so InfoSec is something i see which will be in good demand in this decade but newbies are finding it difficult to land on good secops related jobs right.trust me the with the changes we are doing after pandemic it will reduce the labor we need maintain infrastructure.We recently signed with a AI chatbot and seems to be it will reduce 25% of helpdesk workload in around 6 months.At the same time we are looking in to Co-pilot.So prompt engineering is a skill we will look in future for new joiners.someone needs to teach the AI.Honestly Good Software engineers will have their demand no matter what.Good in terms of people who knows what they are doing and give you solutions rather than more problems.Problem with current bunch SL Software engineers seems to be they are not passionate about it.What i see is that anyone with a good logical brain can become a coder.But passionate peeps will add that extra sweetness to it.It's just not about money.Actually machan tell the young lad find his passion first.who knows when he's graduating what i'm gonna tell now might be totally obsolete.So here in North America we see a trend in stagnation of salaries in IT.This might effect IT industry in SL as well.Currently we have outsourced some of our cloud Managed service needs to SL.But last week we were discussing about shutting the pipe for outsourcing projects and luckily first victim gonna be an indian firm.After going through reddits related to IT stuff i can see it has started to happen in other places as well.Fingers crossed.</p></blockquote><p></p>
