Usually, Support Engineer එකේ interviews දෙකක් හෝ තුනක් සෙට් වෙනවා. Technical interview එකේදි ගොඩක්ම බලන්නේ ඉංග්‍රිසි දැනුම, networking, real-life scenario එකක් දුන්නම ඒක කොහොමද handle කරන්නේ කියලා(Ex- "This printer is down. How are you going to fix it?" or "This customer has this problem with our product/network/system. How are you going to fix his problem?" ), ITIL/SLA, පොඩි පොඩි technical ("What is a firewall?", "What is the Raid configuration?" "What is a vpn?" ) වගේ දේවල්.කොහොම උනත් මේ support Engineer පෝස්ට් එකේ සැලරි නම් සාපේක්ෂව අඩුයි. Sysco Lab වගේ  150K (පෙග් කරන්න කලින්) below සැලරියක් තිබුනේ, for a individual with 5 0r so years experience under his belt.</blockquote>
