It's never easy to say good-bye
The reason why is it hurts deep inside
For me, the pain of saying Good-Bye
Is a feeling I just can't deny
This is especially true of you
For it is something I never thought I would have to do
I would have never imagined our friendship coming to an end
I thought you and I would forever be friends
I envision things as they use to be
But I am now able to clearly see
The time has come for me to say good-bye
If only you knew how much I have cried
You were so special to me
But I realize you could never truly see
The dream of us remaining friends, seems to have fallen apart
