Jennifer Aniston likes her long, honey-colored locks parted down the middle in a simple, no-fuss style.
Too bad the laidback look runs the actress a whopping $50G to achieve.
Indeed, the “effortless” look – long, California-girl style tresses, parted style with a few face framing layers – has been the actresses’ signature look for years. And who doesn’t love how Aniston’s look makes her seem approachable, as if she were your beautiful, yet unpretentious neighbor.
Simple? Yes.
Relaxed? Yes.
Cheap? Hardly.
According to a report in Britain’s Daily Mail, Aniston just couldn’t accept less than the best, and insisted upon flying her stylist Chris McMillan around with her during her press tour for the London premiere of “Marley and Me.”
Each styling session alone runs the star $2,000. But tack on a first class plane ticket from Los Angeles to London, an all-expenses-paid stay for seven-days at London’s posh hotels, and you’ve got yourself a $50G hairdo.
The prices left us wondering, for as many soap-box political speeches and complaints about the economy, do stars really feel the economic crunch, or is a $50G haircut all in a days work?
But we know Aniston has a lot on her mind, so we decided to help her pinch those pennies, and find a similar style for a more agreeable price tag.
Had Jen gone to Supercuts in Levittown New York, a simple cut would have cost her just $15. A wash, cut, and blowout would be a little steeper, setting her back about $45. And if she was feeling really crazy, Supercuts manager Julianne Sims told us she could have gotten a wash, cut, color, and styling for about $150.
And if Aniston wanted to go to the Jean Louis David salon on New York City’s Lexington Avenue, a cut and dry — with tax — would cost her $57.20. According to JLD manager Valerie Ventalora, with a full color treatment, highlights, a cut, blow-dry and styling, her price tag would be $250.
Or she could have even done it herself, with a bathroom mirror, a $4 bottle of hairspray and hair straightener for less than $20.
But we know, Jen. You needed it, right?

Now this is what i called Money Madness. They just have the money but dont know what to do with them. It would have cost her less than 1 third of what she had spent if she had not been taking her hair dressing so seriously!
