OK, then tell me if I am not mistaken, what did SL exactly loose because of the colonization that SL faced?

The main exports of Tea and Rubber of SL was first brought, experimented and cultivated by the British. The Railways, the bridges, the forts along the coastal lines are still productively being used by SL, and thats how it has managed to stay at this position at least.

Just use your basic senses to see, if SL was to do some project, maybe build a road, how long does it take? The corruption, the stealth, ow productivity, disruption to public life etc.

Many many listings are possible about where the colonization aided SL.

Tell me what did they suck out? They took some spices at the beginnig, but we had plenty. Has it depleted the amount available for consumption to-date? NO.

Think over without the fake image of being "captured", and look at it at a wider perspective

That's because SL didn't invade other's lands by force, and we expected others to do the same.. I hope you know how many colonies British had at the time, don't under estimate the network they had.. they also gained knowledge, and expertize and money through these channels.. why? all because they were adventurous at any cost.. even if they had to take other's lands by force... is this what you accept too?

You can never take away that fine environment in Sri Lanka which is the most ideal to grow tea in the while world... English being here or not being here doesn't really matter they can't steal that! With or without English Sri Lankan tea will be the same

Do you think tea bags can grow on its own, and end up in shelves of stores? My point was that the British would provide better entrepreneurship to build the industry better. Economically, yes India is performing better than SL. But talking about the Human development, yes India is lagging, but how does SL break this gap? The bloody begging crooks go beg more man!

And India's policies are such that it boosts the morale of poeple to work, why this problem is great in India is becuase of the population.
