I saw some bad posts about EFutures Private Limited. So I have decided to clear some points where people get wrong about.

I worked for EFutures for 3 1/2 years and they were nice to me and PAID MY SALARY ON TIME (248000).

1. EFutures has 3 office locations one at Castle Street/ Havlock Street and WTC (For BOI Works)

2. EFutures is the 1st company to do Stock broker system for Sri Lanka and they still manage the www.cse.lk and back end feed system for stock brokers and external parties

3. EFutures did the e-Remittance system for People's bank and NSB and it was running for more than 5 years now.

4. EFutures has significant amount of Banking Clients including NTB, NSB, Seylan, Peoples Bank and etc.

5. EFutures is a Consulting Partner for Amazon AWS and it was the 1st company to provide 24/7 cloud support in Sri Lanka.


Background

EFutures originally owned by Mr. Rishen Fernando (Son of ex Cricketer Mr. Ranjith Fernando and he sold it for his Friend Mr. Prshan Nagendra (Tamil Person) who is father is a famous investor in Sri Lanka.

Originally Mr. Balakumar Balendran did all recruitment him self and he was the best loyal employee (then became Head of Operations) among the initial 20 employees.

EFutures now has more work from home employees (I was also) since they have many US works.

EFutures original building is at Castle Street (near to tickle road and shirohana) and yes it is a shitty building. (But designer was Mr. Bawa ).

There are set of people who lives at that location (including old EK Member madurapa) and they rarely go home. Sometimes they work whole day (Yes they bath, eat and shit there ).

Amazing thing at EFutures is they Outsource their extra works to their employees

if you hired for 50k and you have talents and extra-time
then
you could earn more than 100k per month.

they are ready to pay as long as you have the passion and talent or forget it you will loose the job.

HR People

HR Currently handled by a women called Ashvini where like has no talent on hiring IT Guys. She love gossips and she do whatever asked by the management. But you will be hired based on inputs of your interview panel.

I went for interview there about 1 and 1/2 years ago for project manager post. But they didnt call me back Maybe this girl was the one I was interviewed then. She surely talked so much stuff but I thought she listen to my technical introductions and etc.

I should have seen this before that interview and I might had a chance there. I also felt the place is good to work.still appeared better than places like openarc which so much bureaucratic shit going on.

efutures is not a good place to work. lot of politics there. do not join with them.
