nope. bowen march is an old guy He held that position even before jon came to the wall. he even was a candidate to become the commander but withdrew and supported Janos Slynt as I remember

The tv show is lame for me Really not impressed after reading the Song Of Ice & Fire Series.
The Books are way more interesting & fascinating.
I've been waiting for Winds of winter since 2013.

The TV show is helpless in front of the books. They really can't catch that kind of character view & the landscapes are somewhat disappointing cause what you've fantasised by reading the books is way more beautiful & breathtaking.

What is done in the book can never be built in the TV series.
I've watched the first couple of episodes before reading the books. And it was awesome.
But after that I read the books. It was a 1000 times better. And after reading went back to the tv series and got dissapointed
