Like any other naive young girl of her same age would do, Julia can’t help but notice all the attractive young men she comes across. Unfortunately for her, fate plays one of its irresponsible games as she stumbles on a murderer on the run. Dilru is a murderer who is on the run from authorities in England for a murder case, and he comes down to his last resort Sri Lanka in utter desperation. Dilru also happens to be a born charmer of the ladies with his handsome looks and expensive dress sense. What happens to Julia after the chance rendezvous with this beautiful yet deadly stranger? Dilru’s best friend Devi in the meantime comes down to Sri Lanka looking for him, and it turns out to be a fruitless effort. That’s when Devi happens to meet this special young lady, Julia. Shacky is the only true love of Devi’s life but will she remain that way forever? In what twisted way will Julia’s life affect Shacky? And Dilru, what happens to him? A movie that can be enjoyed by all members of the family alike, Julia is a production of Charith Abeysinghe. It features the strange twists and turns fate takes as the lives of Julia, Dilru, Devi and Shacky get entangled in an un-reformable muddle of feelings of happiness and depression. How do these four people deal with their problems? What happens to them in the process? The movie Julia takes the viewer on a whole new experience of cinematic entertainment as the four main characters deal with the usually un-deal-able factors of love, lust and hate. Another special element of Julia is the special dance item that has been choreographed by the famous dance instructor Prasanna Sujith and his assistant director/instructor Ramesh Babu. The fore-mentioned dance is said to feature twelve dancers from India.
