(Lanka-e-News, Oct.13, 2009, 8.00 PM) It is our belief that Gen. Sarath Fonseka has aanother colossal task to perform on behalf of the country and the nation. JVP, Parliamentary group leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake said the JVP is prepared to work in that direction.
Dissanayake made these comments today (13) when he was speaking in a political program of a private Broadcasting station.
Sarath Fonseka after he became the leader, he made huge sacrifices and won the war defeating the LTTE completely.
He is indeed a truly great hero. Now cardboard heroes have become nervous and are opposing the true heroes.
His appointment to the post of Secretary. Sports Ministry is an affront to him, he asserted.
