A member of the Kataragama Pradeshiya Sabha and three others have been arrested for ignoring police warnings and assaulting police officers.
The four of them have been warned by police officers with regard to wearing helmets while riding motorbikes.
When some officers warned them they had assaulted the officers and five of them have been admitted at the Kataragama hospital.
