Anika meka aluth kathawak newene...Everyone in MR camp knew(Maybe except wimal weerawansa, who was very dissapointed on the fact that he didn't have enought time to sling mud at the man) that he wasnt registered for 2008.
2008 meya yudda kara kara hitiye...I'll give him the benifit of the doubt if he forgot to register for an election...he had other priorities at the time unlike some of our dear leaders.
And for all those misinformed this doesn't change anything on the election as the election commisioner mentioned registering doesn't make a difference in candidacy...which the government media conveiniently forgot to mention.
I saw Presidential council talking in rupavahini...even he was confused on the grounds that SF is not a candidate...and as soon as election commisioner released his statement the channel switched to kiddies programs. talk about avoiding the issue.
