Sri Lankan cable TV service provider Lanka Broadband Network (LBN) will broadcast international children's channel KidsCo on its cable TV service.
The Channels will broadcast classic shows such as Sonic Underground and Sabrina The Animated Series, first run exclusives such as Bommi & Friends and The Wiggles as well as KidsCo original programming Boo & Me, Boo & Me 2 and Jass Time.
Paul Robinson, managing director at KidsCo said that, with a population of over 20 million, and cable television becoming more widely available, Sri Lanka was a natural choice for KidsCo to grow within. They were careful with their selection of providers and believe that Lanka Broadband Network shares their goal of delivering educational and fun programming for kids across the region.
Praveen Manathunga, marketing coordinator at Lanka Broadband Network, said, it was Lanka Broadband Network’s goal to expand its presence in Sri Lanka and to offer a high-quality range of positive content for young viewers. KidsCo had a strong track record in providing educational and engaging content to kids and parents who care about what their children are watching and they were really pleased to be working together.
KidsCo is also available on Dialog tv.
