I beleive vegetarianism is often a luxury and at times a tad bit hypocritical. The human body is most efficient as an omnivore. It is difficult to get all the protein and vitamin you need without eating meat, especially if you lead a very physically demanding life or a growing kid. Also for people living in impoverished areas cutting out on meat and using substitutes is simply not a viable option.It is wrong to assume that just because you don't eat meat you aren't killing animals or causing animal suffering. Every time you grow crops you create an ecosystem where many animals live and thrive. When you harvest these crops and cycle them you are effectively killing millions of animals. Also you might have to give up on milk or any other dairy products. The industrial grade milk suction pumps are not the most pleasant thing for cows they are pretty painful. And as ifssometimes the case they will suck out blood as well.</blockquote>
