Kim Kardashian Is Filing for Divorce
The honeymoon is over… So is the marriage.
It’s a wrap: Kim Kardashian is filing for divorce from NBA player Kris Humpries this morning, after only 72 days of being married to the basketball player reports TMZ.
The couple married on August 20 in a over-the-top in Montecito, CA, ceremony that was estimated to cost around $10 million and earn the couple approximately $18 million according to reports, thanks in part to their two-part E! wedding special “Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event,” which broke records for most watched event on the network.
Although the marriage was short, reports say Kim will not seek an annulment, just a divorce citing “irreconcilable differences.” The couple has a prenuptial agreement in place.
Ryan Seacrest, executive producer of the various Kardashian series on E!, announced via Twitter that Kim will make a statement today. Stay tuned…
