I don't think so. So why couldn't it include some other creatures as well? It wouldn't be all about animals if it had about 2 pages of animals unworthy of consumption, right? So why is the Quran so concerned about personal hygiene? Does it say how to properly brush your teeth, how to properly wash, to avoid oily foods? Cos of it says to do things because it is healthy, it should not gloss over these vital facts. I don't know, but it seems to me that you are covering up the real reasons why the Quran forbids these things. </blockquote>
